Lisemiz Tarihçesi

 

Okulumuz, 1969 yılında Türk Milli Eğitim kervanına katıldı. İlk mezunlarını 1972 'de 36 ortaokul , 1973'te de 73 lise öğrencisiyle vermiştir. Açıldığı günden bu yana ortaokul ve lise kısımlarından on binin üzerinde öğrencimiz mezun olarak hayata atılmıştır.

Boğaziçi Lisesi olarak eğitime başlayan okulumuzun adı, ünlü şairin yakınları tarafından kütüphanesinin bir bölümünün okulumuza bağışlanması üzerine, dönemin başbakanı tarafından Behçet Kemal Çağlar Lisesi olarak değiştirilmiştir. İstanbul'da seçkin bir yere sahip olan okulumuz, Türk toplumuna yararlı insan yetiştirme görevini başarıyla sürdürmektedir.
